N.C. Wyeth is the patriarch of three generations of Wyeth-Hurd Artists. Drawing inspiration from both the historic northeast and the arid landscapes of the southwest, and spanning an artistic career of over 100 years, this talented family has inspired and shaped american art history.

 

 

Henriette Wyeth Hurd is the eldest daughter of Newell Convers Wyeth. She is considered by many art scholars to be one of the greatest women painters of the 20th century.

Michael HurdMichael Hurd is the youngest son of Peter Hurd and Henriette Wyeth. Michael has followed in a long line of Wyeth artists and today he stands as a painter in his own right.

Peter Hurd left his birthplace of Roswell, New Mexico to accept a senatorial appointment to West Point. He left the academy after only two years and study under N.C. Wyeth and pursue a career as an artist.
