Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that there’s been a serious sartorial resurgence of neon. If you’re afraid, we get it. We all remember the 90s, and no matter how big a fan of Lisa Frank you might have been, most of us would prefer not to go back…via our closets at least.

But we assure you, this neon–let’s call it new neon–is different–really! Instead of parachute pants and cropped tops, new neon splashes across sophisticated shapes like skinny patent belts cinching a smart blazer, sleek pumps and (possibly to most effect) chic little handbags.

Add a neon crossbody to an otherwise neutral or snoozy look and–voila!–you’re updated for the season sans looking like a New Kids on the Block groupie.

Guys aren’t the only ones who leave Valentine’s Day preparations ’til the last minute. We’ve been known to do it ourselves as well–but don’t tell anyone.

Vday gifts for guys can be super tricky–it really is a girls’ holiday, after all. But we’ve spied these uber-cool leather goods from the new Hugo Guinness x Coach collab. The British artist, known for his linoleum cut prints, has some serious street cred and now his designs are gracing Coach’s wallets, tablet cases and more–perfect for Vday.

It’s that time of year again. Hearts are fluttering, storefronts are being decorated in red and pink, Hallmark is stocking a fresh selection of love notes…but mostly, you’re probably just stressed. A few doors down from The Iron Bed at Plano’s The Shops at Legacy is a fairly new resident: Firefly. Among the store’s gobs of accessories, we spotted this gem. Love, love, love this necklace. The turquoise stone, chain detailing and braided jersey are super on-trend for summer, and we love that this piece is strong enough to stand on its own–the summer heat makes us dread piling on accessories. Bonus: It’s only $42. We totally would have paid $80.
