Mad Frocks at Feathers
March 30, 2012

Mad Men has us in its hat-toting, scotch-sipping grips and we couldn’t be more pleased. Also fans of the show, Best Store Feathers picked out a few frocks they have in store that could easily be spotted on-screen with Don Draper. This is just a preview, so be sure to stop by and check out their full selection.
Pastel Chanel
March 26, 2012

Ooh la la! Check out the rosy Chanel confection that has just arrived at Archive Vintage in Dallas!

The set is a size 8 and in excellent condition, so one of you better snap it up! At $1,100 it’s both and investment and a steal (hello, it’s Chanel!).
Can’t you just see yourself nibbling on a pistachio macaroon whilst donning this number? Yeah, us too.
It’s not old. It’s Vintage, and it’s Fabulous.

In the world of fashion, there are few names that truly endure. Chanel, Hermes, Dior, YSL. You get the picture.
One of those names is Rolex. The name is synonymous with luxury and classic style. Lo-and-behold, what have we found? Abejas in Houston stocks vintage Rolex watches! Most of them are from the ’70s and ’80s, and, as you can imagine, prices vary. But ooh-la-la, how we’d love to find one of these babies waiting for us under the tree!
Vintage Bracelet from Canton First Monday Trade Days
December 5, 2011

On our recent shopping excursion to Canton First Monday Trade Days, we popped in to the Girls Gone Junkin’ booth and spotted this great cuff made from vintage findings. We’re pretty sure the cuff part is actually a drawer pull, and the rhinestone bit it just so fabulously Art Deco. One of our editors snapped it up immediately to style with a stack of her other favorite bracelets.

Oh So Coco.

Some say a photo is worth a thousand words. We consider the same of a Chanel bag. It says so much while saying nothing at all.
We stumbled upon this vintage chain-strap Chanel with lizard trim while hunting for other vintage finds at Archive in Dallas. It’s $550, so it’s not the most budget-friendly thing we’ve found this week, but remember that Chanel is an investment and it never goes out of style.
Lovin’ Lanvin!

We dare you to say you don’t absolutely DIE for this bright green blouse. But…wait for it…it’s Lanvin! From the 1980s You love it just a little more now, dontcha?
We spotted this beauty at Archive in Dallas for just $98. Consider the race on.
