Fashion’s Night Out Showcases Fall Wardrobe Essentials

What better reason to celebrate fashion and go shopping than the kickoff of New York Fashion Week? Fashion’s Night Out is the biggest shopping party of the year, celebrated in over 15 countries. The main events took place in NYC on Thursday, September 8, but Austin had a few glamorous parties of its own!

 

The runways in New York may have revealed spring trends for 2012, but local department stores took this opportunity to display fall’s must-have items. A few of my girlfriends and I decided to join in on the glitz and glam at Neiman Marcus at The Domain. The storewide party featured hors d’oeuvres from The Peached Tortilla (a definite must-visit food truck) and East Side King, sweet treats from Lick It Bite It Or Both, Cocktails by Deep Eddy Vodka, and beats by DJ Johnny Bravo.
