Feather–duh! Feather extensions have come out of nowhere and are the newest it-trend among the college set. I mean, Steven Tyler has them too, but he’s in a class all his own.
Not familiar with the trend? Here’s the skinny: They’re extensions made from real feathers that come in all sorts of colors and lengths. They can be bonded to your hair just like a hair extension, or some salons offer a removable version that you can clip in and out of your hair. The craziest part is that they can be washed, dried, curled and straightened–just like you actual hair. Crazy, huh? Oh, and they last anywhere from several weeks to a few months.

Anywho, I think it’d be super cute to get one (or a few) for football season in your school colors! We’ve rounded up a few places in the following cities where you can get the look. Prices vary ($20-$30 per extension, but each extension contains multiple feathers).
