What have we spied? Signage for Bloomingdale’s The Outlet Store coming soon to The Shops at Park Lane in Dallas! That means Nordstrom Rack, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th and Bloomingdale’s The Outlet Store will all reside in one heavenly location.

This modern, coastal-themed Italian eatery is a must-visit for an upscale casual dinner or weekend brunch. Villa-O is the place we venture to for “original, organic, and oceanic” food. Their cuisine is inspired by the Italian Amalfi coast and they pride themselves on their fresh, natural ingredients. Bottomless Mimosas, Bellinis, and Bloody Marys? Yes, yes, and yes! If you go for brunch on the weekend, you can sit back and enjoy your meal on their killer patio while the waiters keep your glass full. Must try: the Frozen Sfuzzi aka the frozen peach bellini.

If you don’t have time for brunch, stop by on Monday nights for “Dinner on Us,” where you can indulge in a two-course meal for free—all you have to do is buy your own drinks and dessert. No problem!

Wisteria Redux

We’ve just gotten news that one of our favorite home decor spots is getting a bit of a makeover starting this weekend.

The store formerly known as Wisteria Outlet will now be known simply as Wisteria, offering all of the company’s straight-from-the-catalog finds at regular retail prices. The back of the store, however, will now be known as Wisteria Flea Market. Now this is where things get interesting.

Wisteria Flea Market is where you can score major deals on slightly damaged pieces (a.k.a. “objet de ding,” as the company calls it), discontinued styles, overstocks and more.

This weekend marks the official grand opening of Wisteria Flea Market, Thursday – Saturday, and the good folks there have been stockpiling dinged and discontinued merchandise especially for the occasion.

We love food trucks as much as the next gal, but we were getting tired of chasing them around town! Thankfully, the Fort Worth Food Park has officially rolled into town, where you can choose from up to six different food trucks all in one place.

Gracing Fort Worth with yummy bites since December, the food park does not fail in its variety of cuisine. You’ll be able to taste Mexican, American and even Vegan fares. There’s a classic mix of trucks ranging from The Butcher’s Son, Good Karma Kitchen and Nammi to Salsa Limon, Lee’s Grilled Cheese and Red Jett Sweets. The trucks line a dining area full of picnic tables, meaning you won’t have to stand while you graze—and it’s pet friendly! You can follow the food truck schedules here, and rest easy knowing you won’t have to drive all over the metroplex searching for your favorite meals on wheels.

Urban Comes to Cowtown

This just in: Urban Outfitters is set to open its doors on Fort Worth’s super-happening 7th Street! Word on the street is that the retailer has leased a two-story space at the corner of Foch and W. 7th–a space currently occupied by Gavrel Furs. The furrier will move to a location on Camp Bowie in April or May, so we’ll have to wait at least that long until Urban opens. Stay tuned for more details…

Sadly, the current trend around Baylor’s campus has consisted of tired faces on girls who’ve been sleep-deprived due to all night study sessions and two hour long sing practices. Thankfully, the 32-acre oasis at The Spa at Canyon Oaks is right outside of Waco—just a short drive to be treated like nothing short of a queen.

The Spa offers high-class versions of traditional spa favorites. Service include massages, facials, body wraps, pedicures, manicures, body sugaring and waxing. As if having someone cater to your every whim and need wasn’t enough, pizza, soup and up to 2 glasses of wine are available for guests to enjoy during their spa treatments.
