The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo is rolling into town at Reliant Stadium in just a few short days (February 28 – March 18), and we’ve got the skinny on how to do it for less:

Value Wednesdays:

• $5 Value Wednesday Reliant Park Admission (does not include rodeo or concert admission)
• Kids & Seniors FREE Value Wednesday Reliant Park Admission (free admission–excluding rodeo and concert admission–for kids 12 & under and seniors 60 & over)
• Values on the Grounds:

• $5 off your purchase of $25 or more at any HLSR merchandise booth
• $1 games and $1 food bites from 11am – 4pm in the Kids Country Carnival
• Various discounts at food and merchandise vendors, as denoted on booths

Half-Price Carnival Packs – OFFERS END FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24

• $10 Carnival Pack ($30.50 value): 1 fun card with 22 tickets, $5 of a $25 HLSR merchandise purchase, 4 refreshment coupons, 1 free game coupon

It’s that time again–time for the State Fair of Texas! For many, this world-famous state fair is the highlight of the year–even more so than the holidays. But after admission, rides and all the fried food you can eat, it can become a pricey event. So we’re here to tell you how you can save big on your tickets to the State Fair of Texas:

Purchase Your Tickets Online:

• Adult tickets are $13.95 online ($16 at the gate)
• Child tickets are $10.95 online ($12 at the gate)
• Senior tickets (60 yrs. and older) are $10.95 online ($12 at the gate)

Kroger Stores Advance Purchase

• Local Kroger stores are selling advance purchase tickets for $14.95 and season passes for $29.95
• DART Combo Tickets can be purchased at Kroger for $17 and include 1 round-trip ride on DART and fair admission

Dallas Fall Garden Getaway

• For $19, get one general admission ticket to the state fair and one general admission ticket to the Dallas Arboretum (valid through November 23)

Opening Day Discounts (September 30 only)

• Bring a bottle of Dasani water or any Coca-Cola product to the gate for donation to the North Texas Food Bank and get in for $5 per donation per person

Kroger Can Food Drive Wednesdays

• Bring 3 cans of food to the gate for donation to the North Texas Food Bank on Wednesdays during the fair and pay just $2 admission per donation per person

Senior Day Free Thursdays

• Seniors 60 yrs. and older receive FREE fair admission on Thursdays

Dr Pepper $4 Tuesdays

• Bring an empty Dr Pepper can to the gate on Tuesdays and get in for just $4 per donation per person

Dr Pepper $5 after 5

• Bring an empty Dr Pepper can to the gate any day after 5pm and get in for just $5 per donation per person

Coke $5 Thursdays

• Bring an empty 20-oz. bottle of any Coca-Cola product to the gate on Thursdays and get in for just $5 per donation per person

Dickies Day (Thursday, October 6)

• Anyone wearing Dickies logo clothing will receive a voucher for FREE admission to the fair that day (October 6 only)

Cinemark Thursdays

• Present a Cinemark movie ticket stub and receive FREE admission on Thursdays

McDonald’s Discounts

• McDonald’s will be offering discounts such as a free child ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket and $4 off admission on tray liners and bag stuffers from September 30 – October 23
