We got a sneak peek at the new accessories cabana at Everything But Water in Preston Center today, and we’ve never been more ready for beach season.  We’re willing to overlook the donuts we had for breakfast this morning in order to sport all of the fab new accessories we spotted.  Plus, Brittany—the “official” unofficial bikini whisperer—will find you a suit with a great fit that leaves you feeling confident.  Here are a few of our favorites from the store:

Goody, goody, goody!

We’ve just gotten official word that the prince of pattern-play, Jonathan Adler, is opening two Texas boutiques–one on Dallas’ trendy McKinney Ave. (late April) and another on 5th St. in Austin (opening date unconfirmed).

This is thrilling news for design enthusiasts and fans of Adler’s chic-with-a-sense-of-humor aesthetic (we fall into both categories).

In conjunction with the much buzzed-about Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit that opened yesterday at the Dallas Museum of Art, L’Optique of Dallas is launching a Jean Paul Gaultier by MIKLI eyewear collection.

Gaultier and MIKLI have a relationship that goes back 20+ years when they met at Paris Fashion Week when Gaultier was dressing and MIKLI was accessorizing. The collection is a result of their longstanding friendship.

The 20 piece collection will feature eight sunglasses and 12 eyeglasses. L’Optique of Dallas is the first U.S. store to carry the line, and select pieces will be available at the Dallas Museum of Art’s Gaultier-dedicated gift shop. Prices range from $285-$400.
