Betcha thought we were talking about wine, huh? Surprise! We’re actually talking about vintage clothing and jewelry! The Dallas Vintage Clothing & Jewelry Show is rolling in to the Grapevine Convention Center this Friday and Saturday.

It’s the first show of its kind in Texas, featuring 50+ vintage dealers from across the country. Expect to find gems spanning from the Victorian era through the 1980s. One notable vendor is Bess & Evie’s Vintage, one of our fave Fort Worth outposts.

Admission at the door is $8, but if you purchase your tickets in advance online, they’re just $6. And for those of you that are super jazzed about the event, you can get early bird access on Friday at 2pm for a cool $20.

The mother/daughter combo behind Beyond Baroque is finally back on the Dallas scene with a brand new trunk show happening today and tomorrow.  Tomorrow’s show will run from 1:30pm to 4:30pm and will take place at the duo’s in-home studio at “the house behind the hedge on Hawthorne” or 4115 Hawthorne Avenue for you newcomers. Native Texan and jewelry designer extraordinaire (and celebrity favorite) Kendra Scott is setting up shop in Dallas’ West Village! The boutique, which opens this Saturday in the space between Spa Habitat and Taco Diner, will feature a “Color Bar,” where guests can customize pieces based on the particular stones they want. How cool is that?

Leigh Elena just so happens to be a Texas native from Austin. Her chic wares fly off the shelves at 2011 Best Store in Town Eliza Page, but we have also spotted these particular cuffs at fellow Best Store Culinary Connection in Plano, which seems to be expanding their selection of gift items (why else would jewelry be in a kitchen and housewares store?).
