Dallas has officially joined the mobile shopping movement. Highland Park friends Wendy Poston, Jennifer Clark, Capa Mooty, Charlotte Jones Anderson and Alyson Griffith decided to take their fashion savvy to the road with Dallas’ first mobile boutique: Luxeliner.  The jet black delivery truck-turned-shopping haven is stocked with indie labels like Evocateur, Leighelena and Zoa within a totally affordable $20 – $500 price range.

Neiman Marcus’ expertly curated collection of must-have contemporary designer items, CUSP, is coming to The Shops at La Cantera in San Antonio.  The collection hits the floor at La Cantera’s Neiman Marcus this Thursday during the Grand Opening event from 6-8:30pm.  There will be champagne cocktails, coke floats and swag bags—be sure to RSVP here so you don’t miss out on mingling with San Antonio’s top trendsetters and style bloggers.

TRIBEZA Style Week, hosted by the Dachis Group, officially kicks off this weekend.  Unfortunately, the Sunday Style Brunch at Parkside is sold out, but there are fashion-centric events happening all week long so you can still get your fix.

In conjunction with Neiman Marcus, the Stateside Theatre at the Paramount will be showing Bill Cunningham New York this Tuesday, and the “best dressed” guest will win a special fashion package from Mr. Cunningham himself.

We’re also looking forward to the well-dressed males of TRIBEZA + Public School’s A Custom Build on Wednesday.  Hosted by Revival Cycles, a custom and vintage motorcycle shop in East Austin, the photog’s at Public School—an East Austin advertising agency—will be showcasing never-before-seen work.  There will be pop-up shops from local retailers—including Austin Best Stores STAG and By George—with delicious eats and drinks, all for only $10.

Last but not least, the week culminates with the 9th Annual TRIBEZA Fashion Show on the 7^th floor of University Park. This is the hottest event of style week, so if you can only attend one event, make it this one.  Models will own the catwalk with the latest styles from Austin boutiques like Co-Star, Fawn + Raven, Maya Star, Julian Gold, y&i and Wanderlust Boutique to name a few. Tickets to this intimate affair start at $80, but trust us when we tell you it is worth every pretty penny.

In its fourth fabulous year, Fashion’s Night Out is a global initiative celebrating fashion, shopping and the latest trends.  Last year, over 18 different countries coordinated FNO events that included parties, runway shows and exclusive one-night-only shopping incentives.  If you were planning on shopping this Thursday—crazier things have happened—we suggest doing it up at one of these Fashion’s Night Out events around Texas:

AUSTIN

Learn about The Art of Fashion at Neiman Marcus and take home a free-limited edition Fashion’s Night Out scarf from Tommy Bahama with a purchase of $50 or more at The Domain.

DALLAS

Galleria Dallas will once again feature the world’s longest runway, measuring a quarter mile in length, VIP shopper lounges and live music all night long from DJ Brandon Olds.

Highland Park Village will be the place to be from 6-10pm with gourmet treats, exclusive promotions and two runway shows featuring designers like Jimmy Choo, Diane Von Furstenberg, St. John and Trina Turk.

NorthPark Center will be busy with events all evening long, but some highlights include the Neiman Marcus Smoking Lounge—scotch tastings included—and the Fashion Sketch Artist that will be on hand to immortalize your chic outfit in ink. 3

HOUSTON

With more than fifty participating retailers, The Houston Galleria kicks off its evening at 5pm with high fashion lounges, an invitation-only runway show and red carpet entrances for a glamorous evening of shopping.

SAN ANTONIO

The first 200 guests at The Shops at La Cantera this Thursday will receive swag bags, and one lucky winner will receive a shopping spree while mingling with local celebrities from 6-9pm.

SOUTHLAKE

Southlake Town Square has FNO events planned from 5-10pm that include a runway show at 7:30pm, live entertainment and in-store events all night long.

THE WOODLANDS

The Woodlands Mall has tons of giveaways planned all night long.  Be one of the first 150 to get a swag bag and reserve a seat for the fall runway show.

We admittedly became amateur Facebook stalkers after we heard that former Houston Best Store, 310 Rosemont, was going to re-open in a new location under the name SAM and lilli.  The revamped clothing boutique, now on Kirby, is finally open for business and we could not be more excited!  Inspired by fashion icon Coco Chanel, SAM and lilli is stocked with must-have designers like Cosabella, Matt Bernson and 4Love&Liberty.

The long-awaited Arlington location of Sam Moon will officially be open for business this Friday at 9:30am just east of The Parks at Arlington at 1112 W. Arbrook Boulevard. This 17,000 square foot location will feature the always on-trend and affordable handbags, jewelry, shoes and scarves Sam Moon fans have come to love.

After a summer full of bright colors and vibrant prints, we’re looking forward to shaking things up with H&M’s new collaboration with French design house Maison Martin Margiela come fall.  Known for their conceptual, timeless style, we can’t wait to see how the designer will reinvent classic staples for one of our favorite fast fashion boutiques.  The collection isn’t scheduled to hit H&M stores across the country until November 15, so these looks will have to hold you over until then.
