Drawing its name from a great flood in 1866 that destroyed the original falls on the Wichita River, Wichita Falls is a small city with big charm. Be sure to check out the littlest skyscraper (511 7th Street), which, according to legend, was drawn up by a scam artist to lure in investors by not telling them that it was scaled in inches instead of feet. Apparently not everything is Texas is bigger!
