McPherson Cellars
For Lubbock native Kim McPherson, wine production is a part of his past, present and future. McPherson’s father is credited with beginning the Texas wine industry by co-founding one of Lubbock’s most celebrated wineries, Llano Estacado. McPherson, in his father’s vein, plans to continue the family tradition with the opening of Lubbock’s newest winery, McPherson Cellars, in 2008. To reward the Cellars’ repeat customers, McPherson is incorporating a members-only wine club, where the members are allowed to buy specialty wines not available to the general public. With special events and delectable wines to enjoy, McPherson Cellars is sure to be a success with locals and tourists alike.Pheasant Ridge Winery
